Not all wood engraves the same, some engraves dark and some has little to no contrast. Let our expertise and LaserLumber™ use the wood's natural characteristics to your favor! Simply select the desired wood species and engraving result, and watch the magic happen as your engrave!
Solid hardwood strip that has been stained and finished to color! Once engraved, the wood's natural character then shows through the stain! Due to the natural characteristics of wood, no two strips will match exactly and stain colors can fluctuate some. Pending your machine and air assist, engraving a light first pass with a light follow up pass yields a very clean result for the engraving.
White Poplar- Lightest Result From Engraving
Maple- Engraves Lighter but Some Slightly Darker Colors Show
Walnut- Engraves Dark and Background adds a Darker Hue to Coloring
Sapele-Engraves Darker, Background Texture Shows Well
